This current body of work is all about spatial ambiguity.
The amorphous shapes are layered with vibrant, exuberant colors that possess strangely beautiful power and energy.
In my work, one idea begets another. I have a concept when I start, but in the process of visualizing that idea, the work speaks to me, provoking more thoughts, an evolution of one idea to another. One idea pollinates, helping to realize another.
It is critical that my work have energy.
My work visually represents the ideas of the journey, the flight, and the search.
